Cisco today announced that Sanjay Rohatgi, an ICT industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, has been appointed as Senior Vice President Sales and the leader for Cisco’s Service Provider business across the India & SAARC region. In this role, Sanjay will lead the telecom vertical business for Cisco, driving the overall growth strategy and sales operations for this high priority sector.
Sanjay will focus on IP-NGN (Internet Protocol - Next Generation Networks), mobility solutions, adoption and on driving traction for Cisco’s data center & cloud computing platform, collaboration solutions, video technologies for customers in this vertical. His mandate also includes the partner and go-to-market models to help Cisco’s key customers in the vertical create and take to market, unique and differentiated value added services, based on Cisco technology.
